About Unnoodle
Know your product. Change it with confidence.
Product
What we're building
Unnoodle turns a web app's own interface into the place its behaviour is explained. It observes how people use the product and forms its flows from that, answers questions where they come up, and keeps every explanation on the exact element and state it describes.
Our aim is that AI does as much of this work as possible. Every AI write-up is approved by the people who own that area of the product, and anyone can still write or correct things by hand.
Background
Why it exists
AI raised how fast software can be produced. It did not raise how fast people can understand what was produced. The gap between what a product does and what its team knows it does is comprehension debt. Teams pay it in rework, in the same questions asked again, and in decisions made on assumptions.
Documentation is a copy of the product, kept somewhere else: a Confluence page, a Notion doc, a wiki. Reading it means leaving the work, and it falls behind with every release. The running interface is the product itself. That is where Unnoodle builds understanding, so nobody has to switch context to find out how it works.
Audience
Who it's for
Built for product and engineering teams: developers, testers, product owners, and the engineering leaders accountable for the product. Everyone else who needs to understand the product, from onboarding and customer success to support, sales, marketing and leadership, uses it to get up to speed.
Principles
How we work
- We say what runs today. This site describes what the product does now; what comes next is labelled as next.
- People decide. AI suggests; the owners of each area approve. Nothing reaches your product's users unless someone on your team wrote or approved it.
- Privacy by default. We collect only what the product needs to work.
Status
Where we are
Unnoodle is being built in Munich, Germany, and is in private beta. We work directly with a small number of teams at a time.
